These high-quality chain-link fence slats are the affordable and traditional privacy option for your fence that still provide enough security for your home or workplace. Each slat must be installed correctly and be fully inserted inside the wire mesh of your fence to achieve the desired results. It is important to note that they cannot be used to extend the fence height and are not suitable for fences on a steep slope.Add these to your garden fence, pool fence, general yard fence, and more. Each slat is designed to be 3.5" shorter than the height of your chain-link fence to accommodate installation and protect the slats from bending at the top. When compared to privacy screens or tape, which can end up being translucent after installation, these slats are opaque and block the view from the outside. They come in a wide variety of colors. Coverage is dependent on the type of slat and size of mesh.Commercial privacy screens can also begin to wear after 3–5 years and even tear if a piece of bent chain link gets stuck to them, making these tubes a more desirable choice. These SoliTube Slats are made with a heavy-duty, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that is domestically sourced in the USA to ensure the highest quality possible during construction. These slats are strong and sturdy and can withstand any climate or weather. The slats are also designed with UV inhibitors that can protect them from sun damage over time.Each slat is easy to install. Insert the included Viper Channels horizontally through the bottom of the fence, slide each slat through the diamonds at the top of the fence, and push them down toward the channel until they click into place. These slats are not designed to be weaved. Because each slat must be installed individually, it may take approximately 25 minutes per 10-foot section of fencing. Once the slats are added to your fence, they are designed to last and provide optimal privacy to any outdoor fence.

• FENCE PRIVACY: Unlike fence tape, these slats are designed to easily slide vertically through your chain-link fence for optimal outdoor privacy. Determine the diamond size of your fence by measuring diagonally between the parallel wires, not corner to corner. The added privacy of the wings leaves no unsightly perforations or wave pattern. Compatible with 4', 6', and 8' height fences.
• QUALITY DESIGN: SoliTube slats are made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), color pigments, and ultraviolet (UV) inhibitors designed to lessen the harmful effects of the sun and extend product life. The coextruded thermoplastic elastomers of the wings are soft and match the texture and sheen of the HDPE body of the slats. They are durable and resistant to severe weather conditions.
• COVERAGE: Each slat measures approximately 1 7/16" wide with the length being approximately 3" shorter than the overall height of the fence (e.g. 6-foot slats are 69"). These vertical privacy inserts add from 90% to 100% privacy to regular 2-inch diamond, 9-gauge chain-link fabric. They also work with 11-gauge chain-link fabric.
• WITH YOUR ORDER: Each bag contains 82 slats and covers up to 10 linear ft. Also, included in each bag are 3 Viper Channel pieces 42" in length (allowing for 10' of coverage with 6" to spare). These double-wall slats with privacy fins on each side come in a variety of standard colors.
